Final Fantasy

FFXIV: Our Unending Tour is a fan-made youtaite event dedicated to celebrating the world of Final Fantasy through music and creativity.

Rules and Guidelines

  • 001.   Registration and submissions     Registration will begin June 1st 2026 and will remain open throughout the duration of the event. Submissions will open August 1st 2026 and remain open until December 6th 2026.

  • 002.   Recruitment     There is no limit on group sizes. You may outsource roles as needed. You may join any number of groups as you please. Usage of artificial vocals (such as Vocaloid, SynthV, Utau) are permitted as long as majority of vocalists are human. Please do not over commit on projects and take care of yourselves.

  • 003.   Generative AI     The use of generative AI in any aspect of a submission is strictly prohibited.

  • 004.   Song Guidelines     Covers and original songs should be around 1:30 to 10:00 minutes in length. Songs do not need to be from the Final Fantasy franchise and can be in any language. Do make sure you do your research to avoid any trouble with copyrights.

  • 005.   Title Format     When uploading your video, please use the following title format:【#FFXIVOUT】 Song Name 【Group Name / Alias】

  • 006.   Spoilers     Spoilers are allowed. However, all spoiler-related content must include a clear warning both at the beginning of the video and on the submission form, specifying the relevant game or expansion. Joining this Tour puts you at risk of being spoiled of any and all Final Fantasy titles.

  • 007.   Keep it related     Submissions may be serious, emotional, comedic, lore-focused, cinematic, or completely chaotic, as long as they are connected to a Final Fantasy title you are free to be as creative as you wish. Be sure to use appropriate content warnings for sensitive or disturbing matters.

  • 008.   Do not upset the man     Please be respectful of Square Enix and their intellectual property. Do not create content that could cause issues for the event, its participants, or the community.

Hi! I’m Raeya, your host. I’ve been playing Final Fantasy XIV since its release, and I’ve loved the Final Fantasy series ever since I was little. As both a longtime player and a youtaite creator, I wanted to create something that brings those two passions together.This tour is a celebration of the stories, music, and characters that make Final Fantasy so special to so many of us.While the event is centered around Final Fantasy XIV, anyone who loves the Final Fantasy series is welcome to join. Whether your entry is emotional, comedic, lore-focused, cinematic, or a tribute to a favorite character, this is a space to share your creativity and love for the franchise.Use your Warrior of Light, original characters, or existing Final Fantasy characters to tell a story through music and performance.The event will begin June 1st 2026 and end December 6th 2026.

Staffing Tips
Don't have art skills? Can't afford to hire mixers? Try recruiting on twitter, or in specialized discord servers! Still lost? Try getting creative, use your in-game character models and make videos with them! Even AMV's are accepted in tours. You don't need fancy art, mixes or videos here!
Skill doesn't matter
"I can't join because I'm not good at this!" Is not an excuse! If you love FFXIV or Final Fantasy and you like to sing, draw, make videos or music then you're welcome here! This is not a contest and everyone regardless of skill level is welcome!
I still have no ideas...
Pick something you love about Final Fantasy and sing about it! Do you love making friends, collecing mounts and minions, fighting dangerous foes, developing deep lore, running around dressed as a moogle, or even you just like a song from the series itself you want to cover it? The options are endless!
